Exhibition Update -Reflecting on MERGE at Brightwells Yard: A Triumph of Community and Fine Art 🎨✨

What an incredible whirlwind the MERGE Fine Art Exhibition has been! Stepping into the Brightwells Creative Space @brightwells_farnham and seeing months of planning, organizing, and late-night studio sessions come together was nothing short of magical.

Co-organizing with myself @nicholarodgers.artist and Katherine Loudoun @kloudart an exhibition while also exhibiting as a participating artist is a unique challenge, but seeing the vibrant community response made every single moment worth it. MERGE succeeded because it brought together an exceptionally diverse and talented collective of local makers, from fine art and sculpture to woodwork, printmaking, and natural art. Watching visitors engage with the artwork, participate in our live workshops, held by Katherine and @wildearth.studios and have deep conversations about the creative process with different artists, was great to see.

The sheer variety of work on display proved that there is immense strength in our collective diversity. As both a creator and an organizer, I am incredibly proud of what we built, the sales and vindication our artists achieved, and the creative energy we brought to @Farnhamcraftown and through @farnhamcreativenetwork Thank you to every fellow artist who poured their heart into this, and to everyone who came out to support us. here to many more exhibitions 🥂🌿
