Francesca Busca - 3rd resident piece

For the third and final instalment of her residency, eco‑artivist Francesca Busca turns her attention to un-recyclable parts of aluminium waste which is the caps and tops - in Aluminium Assemblies, an exploration of transforming discarded fragments into richly textured mosaics. Participants will discover unconventional assembly techniques that elevate everyday trashure into layered expressions of empathy, culminating in a striking and durable artwork.

The new Ada Lovelace Chapel, that was blessed by Bishop Lusa and Father David. Thanked Francesca Busca, Ada parent and Eco-artivist, 'Rubbish artist' for her stunning artwork 'The Flow of Life' which graces the wall of the Chapel making this space completely unique. Her sculpture is an artistic representation of the beauty of the continual journey of growth expressed in our 10:10 ethic.

Made out of 100% waste, the staff, students and parents of the school collected c.8000 metal screw caps and just as many ring pulls to enable Francesca to create this beautiful piece of work.
